Famed Costume Designer, Paul Tazewell, Takes Home Emmy!
2016 has been an amazing year so far for Award winner Paul Tazewell! On September 11 at the Creative Emmy Awards Ceremony, Paul took home the Emmy for Outstanding Costumes For A Variety, Nonfiction Or Reality Program for The Wiz Live! Of the nomination, Paul gushed, "It was absolutely thrilling and I am so grateful for the honor of an Emmy for my design work.” Although this is his first Emmy, he has picked up numerous awards in the past including the 2016 Tony Award for Best Costume Design for Broadway sensation Hamilton. Currently, the award-winning costume designer is hard at work on the adaptation of Rebecca Skloot’s bestselling novel, “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,” for HBO Films.
