Marissa Joyce Stamps is a Black, Haitian-American NYC-born and based writer, director, actor, and educator who creates vortexes centering Black folks via Afrosurrealism. She is a 2023 Finalist for The National Black Theatre’s I AM SOUL Playwrights Residency, a Fall 2023 Lead Artist at The Mercury Store, and a New Georges Affiliate Artist.
