Alexandria Best

Alexandria Best is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina where she began her dance training at Carolina Dance Center and CC & Company Dance Complex. In her formal training years, she acquired knowledge from various instructors across programs such as American Ballet Theatre, Arts Umbrella, Carolina Ballet, DamianiDance, French Académie of Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She is a graduate of Pace University, where she received her BFA in Dance and a minor in business. While at Pace University, Alexandria had the opportunity to perform a variety of stylistic works in the styles of ballet, jazz, theater, modern, and contemporary dance. Her time at Pace University was well supported as a recipient of the Carl & Lily Pforzheimer Endowed Fund as well as a National College Scholarship recipient from the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation. Upon Graduation in 2021, Alexandria accepted a contract and joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago as a company artist. Now going into her third season, Alexandria has had the pleasure of performing a variety of works around the country from choreographers such as Amy Hall Garner, Aszure Barton, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Hope Boykin, Jermaine Spivey, Lar Lubovitch, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, Osnel Delgado, Randy Duncan, Rennie Harris, and Thang Dao. Alexandria is elated to be joining the Princess Grace Foundation alongside an array of beautiful artists.
