Throughout Alicia Rodriguez’s time studying film, she has worked on fiction and nonfiction sets, while also working as a DP, camera operator, film editor, PA, graphic designer, and photographer for production companies and nonprofits in the DC area and NYC.

 

Rodriguez’s documentary work has screened in festivals including 2018 “Cultivation and Community”, and recent DP roles include working for a feature documentary by SoulFly, a music video for The Grey A, and other short film work.

 

Her recent awards include the 2019 Joy R. Hughes Award for Best Documentary Pitch, Film at Mason’s Best Cinematography Award (2018 “Close Call” & 2019 “Jihad”), and 2018 Capital Emmy Student Production Award for Short Form – Fiction by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of NATAS for the role of DP in “Close Call”.
