Molly Gillis is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently pursuing her MFA at NYU Grad Film. She is a Willard TC. Johnson Scholarship Fellow, a Maurice Kanbar Scholar and a recipient of the 2019 Spike Lee Production Fund Award. Her latest narrative short film screened at the 2019 Palm Springs ShortFest, Maryland Film Festival, Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival, Hollyshorts Festival, and others. She has written profiles and produced music videos that have been featured on iD magazine, Pitchfork, and the Fader. She also holds a BFA in experimental theater from NYU.
