Carlos Armesto is the founder of theatreC (est. 2009), a company that creates unique theatrical experiences, and the CEO of PITCHBLACK Immersive Experiences, an international company that creates sensory immersive theatre in complete darkness. He has directed and produced festivals, plays, musicals, and events around the country, serving as Associate Curator at the inaugural Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts; Associate Artistic Director at The Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST); and as Creative Director for theatreC’s LGBTQ+ Party Series RETRO FACTORY.

2010), BINDING (Innovative Theatre Awards 2010), ECHOES OF ETTA (MAC Award 2014), and ODD MAN OUT (2021-2022, NY Times Weekend Roundup).
