2025 Princess Grace Award

Christian A. Warner is an interdisciplinary performing artist, choreographer, sound designer, and director whose work spans movement, musical theatre, and film. He has performed with dance companies such as Sidra Bell Dance New York, Boca Tuya, NVA & Guests, slowdanger, TU Dance and Owen/Cox Dance Group, among others. Originally from Houston, TX, he is passionate about crafting multidimensional work that invites embodied inquiry and collective resonance. His choreographic work has been commissioned by Triskelion Arts, Owen/Cox Dance Group, Ballet Co.Laboratory, and the BlackLight Summit. In 2023, he received a Heinz Endowment Creative Development Award for his methodology and creative practice Locating Lucidity with Attack Theater. Most recently, he was selected as a 2025 Pepatián Dancing Futures Resident at BAAD – the Bronx Academy of Art and Dance.
