007 Monaco Bond Experience
Covid-19 Travel Guide

Dear Secret Agents,

M has been working in close collaboration with the Monaco Government in preparation for your arrival in Monaco. The Principality is excited to welcome you for the prestigious Monaco premiere of 007’s No Time To Die (NTTD). Here are some tips to help make your trip to Monaco seamless.

If you are traveling to Monaco from abroad:
Below are the Monaco government’s requirements to enter. These requirements mostly affect travelers if they are unvaccinated. https://covid19.mc/en/travel/i-come-from-abroad/

VACCINATED TRAVELERS – All vaccinated travelers will just need their passport, physical Covid-19 vaccination card as well as a recommended negative PCR test taken within the past 72 hours of it being administered (required for hotel check-in). The PCR test is not a requirement to enter France, but is advised to have a negative PCR or Antigen test. You can take an Antigen test upon arrival at the Nice Airport, and it takes about 20 minutes for the results. There is a chance that the French Border will ask for you to fill out a statement of health, but they will provide it for you.

UNVACCINATED TRAVELERS – Be mindful of what zone you’re coming from; FRANCE HAS PLACED the United States ON THEIR ORANGE LIST. If you’re traveling from an orange or red zone/country, travelers to France will need to request proof of urgent reason to travel. You will need to request this from the French Consulate for their region. There is a chance that the French Border will ask for you to fill out a statement of health, but they will provide it for you.

MONACAIR:
Monacair does not issue boarding passes, so guests will simply have to go the Monacair desk within the airport Terminal upon arrival for their transfers into Monaco. You will need a negative PCR test (can be taken at French border) and your valid passport to use this service.

Hotel Check In:
Passport and negative PCR test will be required at hotel check-in. If you need to have a PCR test administered when you arrive at your hotel, the hotel’s concierge can provide this service for you and the expense will be added to your room. If you would like to request this service before you travel, please let M know and she will alert the Hotel de Paris or Hermitage.

Updated French Government Health Pass:
The French Government Health Pass is not needed for entry into France. As for the need/use of the pass, you won’t need it for immigration or customs in France (only for public activities and certain venues within the French borders). The CDC Card and the Canadian equivalent are accepted for entry and transit through France. If, for some reason, travelers do not receive the Pass in time for departure, the French Government advises travelers to get a negative antigen test result from a French pharmacy, which would give travelers a 72-hour temporary health pass (the US Embassy in Paris has said that visitors can try asking French pharmacies to convert the CDC vaccine cards to the French system as well). Here is the new online application: https://www.demarches-simplifiees.fr/commencer/passesanitaire-etrangers

QR CODES:
QR codes are not required for dining out in Monaco, BUT PROOF OF VACCINATION IS AND will also be requested to enter the NTTD premiere. For quick proof of vaccination, you can download a QR code.

If you are traveling from New York State: Please have your Excelsior pass downloaded on your phone for the Covid 19 QR code.

If you live outside of New York: To obtain a QR code, you can download an app on your phone called Common Pass. A note on privacy: When you import your vaccination status or test results to CommonPass, your personal data stays on your device. CommonPass does not store your personal data anywhere else or share your CommonPass with any outside vendors, contractors, partners, or healthcare providers.

Monaco’s Foreign Ministry and Public Health Authority has told us that CDC and CANADIAN vaccination cards will continue to be accepted as proof of vaccination and will allow access to public venues, restaurants, etc. For guests vaccinated in the US or Canada, their government issued cards/proof should be fine.
