Grzegorz Labuda – costume designer and actor who explores the relationship between theatre and the visual arts. In his work, he emphasizes the performative aspect of the costume focusing on sustainable methods of creation. He designed i.a. for Living Space Theatre (“Jesus Christ, Refugee!”, “Cockroaches”), Quantum Theatre (”Devil is a Lie”, “Flying Lovers of Vitebsk”), and others. He collaborated with artists in Europe and the USA. He was recognized as a Student Ambassador by The United States Institute for Theatre Technology. He was selected to present his work during the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space. He came to the USA as a Fulbright scholar and graduate of the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Poland. He is currently studying costume design at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
