India Hobbs is a professional dancer, freelance creative, and movement instructor currently based in New York City. India has 6 years of professional experience, collaborating with choreographers all throughout the city. In 2021, Hobbs graduated magna cum laude from The Boston Conservatory, and shortly after relocating to New York, she joined and performed with companies like Gallim Dance Co., directed by Andrea Miller, and KnoName Artist, led by Roderick George. Hobbs has had the opportunity to perform in theaters like the Joyce Theater, City Center, Jacobs Pillow, Kaatsbaan Cultural Park, Harris Theater, and the Krakowskie Centrum Choreograficzne in Poland. Most recently, Hobbs performed as a lead dancer for the 250th anniversary of America, the second performance to be held at the Statue of Liberty since 1986.
