Ino Badanjak is an actor and theater-maker currently based in New York City. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, she moved to the USA to pursue her BA in acting at Emerson College, where she became fascinated with the practice of improvisation and the philosophy that surrounds it, particularly through the work of Action Theater. She is now part of the International Action Theater Ensemble led by Ruth Zaporah and is one of the youngest Certified Teachers. She has performed and presented work at TheaterLab, Pioneer Works, The Rough Draft Festival, NOTAFE, and the Edinburgh Fringe. She recently graduated from The Juilliard School with an MFA in Drama and is currently producing her first short film with her two artistic collaborators.
