Jordan Johnson, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, is a choreographer, performer, and director. In 2018, he co-founded JA Collective with his creative partner Aidan Carberry, with whom he creates the majority of his work. Through JA Collective, Jordan has received the NDT Partner Award at RIDCC, presented at TED, won first place at the Masdanza Festival in the Canary Islands, second place at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival, and the Audience Award at the Hannover Choreographic Competition in Germany. His work has been featured in Dance Magazine and L.A. Dance Chronicle. He has also presented and performed internationally as part of Friends of Forsythe, curated by William Forsythe, and has created music videos and art films amassing millions of views online.
