Kameron N. Saunders is from St. Louis, MO. He began his dance training at the Center of Creative Arts. He is a BFA graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2018 Kameron was one of eight choreographers chosen for the Choreography Fellowship at Jacob’s Pillow in its inaugural year. He is a recipient of the Passion Project Grant from the Jaquel Knight Foundation. This year he was featured in VoyageKC magazine. He was also a choreographer for Rashaad Newsome’s ASSEMBLY at the Park Avenue Armory. Kameron is a principal dancer in “The Color Purple” and “Spirited” musical films releasing this year and next. Additionally, Kameron has choreographed for companies like Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Saint Louis Ballet, Missouri Contemporary Ballet, Owen/Cox Dance Group, as well as for editorials like “If I Was An Animal” by Vogue and Burberry.
