Madeline Babuka Black (b. 1994 Atlanta, GA) is an artist and musician based in Los Angeles. She received her MFA in Experimental Animation from California Institute of the Arts and her BFA in Fine Art from The Cooper Union. Her animated work has screened in festivals internationally, including Fantasia International Film Festival and Fantoche Animation Festival. Her singular visual language extends to her band Slippers (K Records) whose recent critically acclaimed LP Slippers 08 is available on vinyl worldwide.
