From Philadelphia, Mark Caserta received their BFA from University of the Arts. They’ve danced professionally with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Les Ballets Jazz De Montreal and Camille A. Brown & Dancers. Mark’s been awarded the EMERGE Choreography Award (Gibney Company & Springboard Danse), Philadelphia Rocky Award for Outstanding Dance, Pennsylvania Ballet Choreography Award and was a 2018 Emerging Choreographer at Springboard Danse Montreal. Mark’s been commissioned by Gibney Company, American Ballet Theater (ABT), Pennsylvania Ballet II, Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, DanceWorks Chicago, Kit Modus, Whim W’him Contemporary Dance Seattle, UArts, Pace University, The Ailey School, Peridance Youth Ensemble and Black Light Summit. Mark is faculty at Gibney Dance, an ambassador for MindLeaps, Adjunct Professor and Artist in Residence at UArts School of Dance. Mark directs BigKid Dance, a queer dance community based in Philly.
