MASON EVANS (Margate, FL) began his dance training at Performance Edge 2, later graduating from Dreyfoos School of the Performing Arts in 2022. He was named a YoungArts winner in Modern/Contemporary in 2021. Evans is a 2026 graduate of the Juilliard School, where, under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack, he has performed works by Chanel DaSilva, José Limón, Hope Boykin, Shen Wei, Pam Tanowitz, and Aszure Barton. Now in his second year with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, he continues to familiarize himself with different forms of movement and the process of performing. Ultimately, his goal is to gain an understanding deep enough to transition to choreographer and/or director.
