Michael Ruiz-del-Vizo is a Scenic Designer based in Brooklyn. Born and raised in Miami, they are a Queer Cuban-American Artist and the descendant of immigrants. They earned their B.F.A. in Production Design with a concentration in Scenic Design and Art Direction from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Michael is a designer for theater, opera, and dance, who strives to develop bold and challenging new work whose stories engage with design as an integral part of the storytelling process. Michael is a proud member of Local USA 829 and Wingspace Theatrical Design.
