Tramaine Raphael Gray (he/him) is a multidisciplinary director/writer; who specializes in: film, theatre, and experimental installation art. An ever-evolving storyteller that ministers thought provoking experiences that explore sexuality, spirituality and self enlightenment in his work. His mission is to illuminate, heal and evolve the narrative/lives of those othered, alienated, dehumanized. With a goal to uncover new forms to revitalize the way we emblazon art for the present, and the near future. He received his B.F.A. in Design and Production from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and is currently pursuing his Masters in Directing from the California Institute of the Arts. His work has been awarded/recognized by the Director’s Guild of America, Lincoln Center, TheWrap, NewFest, Urbanworld, MVAFF, PAFF and more.
