2025 Princess Grace Award

Originally from Irvine, CA, William Okajima began training at Orange County School of the Arts, Westside Dance Project, and Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy. At 13, he booked his first professional role in Sia’s The Greatest, sparking his passion for commercial dance. Since, he continues to be a part of Los Angeles’ vibrant commercial dance scene, featuring in music videos, nationwide advertisements for Honda, Apple, Uniqlo, Pull & Bear, and most recently traveled to Abu Dhabi to feature in its global tourism film. A 2024 graduate of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance (BFA), he trained under Kyle Abraham, Bret Easterling, Jermaine Spivey, Jodie Gates and William Forsythe. He also earned a minor in entrepreneurship from USC Marshall, exploring the intersections of dance and business. Okajima joined A.I.M by Kyle Abraham in 2024.
